Distinctions

Current(2000)
  • There are a few projects that are incomplete or currently not available to the public that I would be happy to discuss with you if you inquire.

  • My redesign of the FEMA for Kids site was approved and implemented. I created the graphics, constructed a new, alternate navigation, and illustrated the accompanying story.
The Kids page was mentioned in the April 2001 Yahoo Internet Life Magazine as a top government kids site and it was recently featured in a Washington Post article. Click here to read the article. Just recently, some children re-enacted the story for school, check out their picture. (Thanks FEMA)

  • One of my shockwave games allegedly violated some copyrights held by a popular recording "artist." Upon the receipt of a cease and desist letter from their lawyers, I removed the game. To make up for the resulting lack of material, I made this game: Cease & Desist, which lets you be a lawyer and put the smack down on irreverant web masters. Enjoy!

  • After WHFS DJ Johnny Riggs was filed with drug and pornography charges, I made this t-shirt and sent it to the DC101 Morning crew. They loved it and Elliot asked me to call the show and talk with him a bit. Explanation of shirt, and a copy of the Washington Post article detailing Riggs' dilemma.

  • I was added to www.IShouldBeWorking.com's Slacker Directory.

  • My "Blairmobil," Blair Witch Project spoof continues to receive recognition. Besides personal e-mail from MTV's Carson Daly it
    • is featured in Italy's "Happy Web" magazine. (Click for picture 4/13)
Thanks to Andrea Dalla Corte for sending that in, and thanks to Becca for this translation.

    • earned Yahoo! Surfers' Cool Pick.

    • Click HERE to view the stats for "Blairmobil Toys." This site passed the 13,000 hit mark in September 2000

  • "You Are Happy," my entry for Adobe's Millennial Design Contest. I ended up a semi-finalist. It is an illustration I did in Photoshop 5.5 with 100% my own photography.

  • Elliot in the Morning, logo for DC 101's 'Elliot in the Morning' show. I was one of three finalists for this one. But they chose the logo that is on display here. The intent is a spoof of the DC Metro logo, because "like the Metro, Elliot is loud and smelly, but gets DC moving."
