Lost Survivor Scenes: 2

JEFF PROBST will come out and explain that it is the first night on the island, having settled in the CAST MEMBERS are trying to get to know each other and pass the time. RICHARD (the big gay guy), RUDY (the ex-Navy SEAL) and SUE (the redneck trucker) are sitting around kind of listlessly.

Mid-thought RICHARD gets a "lightbulb", stands up, and disappears into the thick of the jungle.
We see giant palm leaves sway and rustle. After a few minutes we hear a 'pop' noise (finger being plucked from closed mouth). RICHARD returns with a beer. He sits down and chugs it with a shit-eating grin on his face.

SUE raises her eyebrows and glances at RUDY. RUDY furrows his brow and asks RICHARD if he has any more beer.

RUDY replies: "Sure, but you're going to have to help me get it."

RICHARD and RUDY get up and disappear into the same bit of jungle. Rustling and popping noise preceed RICHARD and RUDY returning, each with a beer in hand, looking satisfied. They sit down and continue chugging.

SUE: "How did you get that on the island?"

RICHARD: "I 'smuggled' it on." (Suggestive eyebrow wagging)

SUE: (Nodding once) "What else didjya smuggle in?"

RICHARD: "Let's see... a six pack of beer, a flashlight, a roll of Oreo cookies, a gerbil, two 'foot-long' hot dogs, and...
Pokes and prods his belly... searching....
and a fishing pole.

Close up on RUDY... the wheels are spinning (this will be illustrated), he turns to RICHARD, pauses, opens his mouth, pauses again.

RUDY: "You wouldn't happen to be a... a ... homo-sexshull?"

RICHARD: "Well, yes, does that make you uncomfortable?"

RUDY: "I suppose not..." (thinks a moment) "can I grab another beer?"

RICHARD: (Rediculously lispy) "Ssssssure"

They both go back into jungle, more rustling... prolonged silence... rustling... popping noise. Rustling...

Int. Island hut. Late night. Scene will have simulated 'night vision' atmosphere.

Quick cut to shocked RUDY face. Scream... panting, animated sweat.

RUDY looks around, pauses a moment, sighs relief.

Zoom out revealing spooning scene... RICHARD cuddled up on RUDY, clutching a Tinky Winky doll.

RUDY: "Oh, nothin' darlin'... just had a nightmare."

RICHARD: (groggily) "Yeah?"

RUDY: "Yeah, I dreamt I had been voted off on the first day."

RICHARD: "That dream would suck!"

RUDY: "Yes it did Richard... yes it did."

Closing credits.
